Honeymoon Tips (part 2)

Many newlyweds couple forgotten many things on their honeymoon vacations; mostly because of bad planning before they go to the place. In Honeymoon Tips (part 1), some main points already described, go there if you have not read it. Here is some more points that will guide you more on your romantic vacation:

  • Agree on a time when you can both focus on your upcoming trip.
  • First thing to do when you sit down together: Decide on a budget. Make sure that all expense during your romantic vacations will be paid accordingly.
  • Then figure out how long you can get away. Longer stay will consume more budget, pay more attention on this.
  • Choose whether to fly or drive. Based on this decision, you will also know whether you want to travel domestically or internationally. Also you will know if it need passport, visa and any other paper to travel to a specific places.
  • Do you prefer a hot climate or a cool one? Mountains or beach? City or country? Large, full-service resort or private enclave? All of this questions will help you get focus and what you both need and how much it will cost to do it. Make list of it and compare it to get the best choice.
  • List outdoor activities you both enjoy or want to learn.
  • Understand that you won’t agree on everything.
  • After deciding the destination of your romantic vacation. Bring a map or atlas to the table, it will help you both to get deep sight on each place including hotels/villas and many other interesting places.
  • Be honest about how you like to spend your free time. Good marriage will be built on trust and honesty. Honeymoon is the right place to start it and you both can talk freely on this matter.
  • Keep in mind that you’ll have many more vacations together after this one. The world will not end after you finish your honeymoon. There is plenty of time to spend it together in another exotic places.
